Medicare Part C

Medicare Part C – Enhance Your Standard Medicare Coverage

In order to sign up for Medicare Part C (also known as Medicare Advantage), you must have Medicare Parts A and B from the Federal Government. While having Medicare Parts A and B are important, they are incomplete coverage, in some cases, for example, paying only 80% of your medical bills. Tim Harrigan and Harrigan Insurance Services is your trusted source in Exeter, NH, for expert advice on Medicare Part C plans.

Medicare Part C plans help fill in the gaps in Parts A and B and can provide additional options such as free OTC coverage, dental, vision, etc.

Understanding your Medicare options can be confusing, but the team at Harrigan Insurance Services will patiently and professionally guide you through the process from beginning to end. Contact our Exeter, NH, office today at

A

Medicare Part A

When you first enroll in Medicare, you will automatically be registered for part A. This part covers any hospital stays, hospice care, nursing homes and other facilities. While most people do not have to pay a premium, you will still be charged a deductible which is why some people add supplemental insurance to cover any out-of-pocket costs.

B

Medicare Part B

Medicare Part B covers outpatient services, ambulances, medical equipment, screenings and doctor's visits. Part B can be more costly, and some people do not sign up for it if they have coverage through a job or spouse. For this reason, we will discuss your options to make sure you have proper coverage at the right price.

C

Medicare Part C

Medicare Part C is also called Medicare Advantage. Medicare Part C covers everything Part A & B do, and it may even cover some extra benefits. Some of these extra benefits can be dental, vision, hearing and health classes.

D

Medicare Part D

Part D focuses on prescription drugs. It will help you cover some of the cost of medicine. Even in this plan, there are different options and qualifications, which is why you should talk to an expert at Harrigan Insurance Services.
